Dom Bré Jequitiba is an amber cachaça aged in Jequitiba Rose barrels.
Jequitibá is a name derived from the Tupi-Guarani, meaning "giant of the forest," a tree averaging 25 to 35 meters tall, reaching up to 50 meters. Due to the presence of vanillin, which adds vanilla notes to the cachaça, it is considered the Brazilian wood that most closely resembles American oak.
