Hot chocolate is one of the most classic drinks to cope with cold days, but have you ever thought about giving it a more special touch?
With winter approaching, we decided to teach you how to make a different kind of hot chocolate with an ingredient that many people love: cachaça.
Follow the recipe step by step!
Preparation time: approx. 10 minutes
Ingredients:
250 ml milk
30 ml cachaça
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons chocolate powder
1 dessert spoon brown sugar
Milk or medium-strength chocolate
Cinnamon powder
Preparation instructions:
Add the milk, cornstarch, brown sugar, and chocolate powder to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Stir well until thickened.
Remove from heat and gradually add the cachaça. Don't forget to taste, as the amount of cachaça should be adjusted according to individual taste.
If you prefer, beat with a blender (after adding the cachaça) to make the mixture more homogeneous.
Chop the milk or semi-sweet chocolate and place a few small pieces on the bottom of a mug, then pour in the hot chocolate.
Sprinkle with cinnamon powder to finish.
Tip: To make the hot chocolate even more delicious, you can add whipped cream or Chantilly cream at the end of the preparation.
