Cachaça da Quinta is produced at Fazenda da Quinta, in the municipality of Carmo, in the mountainous region of the state of Rio de Janeiro, in a valley near the Paraíba do Sul River, at an altitude of 220 meters.

The property boasts ideal soil, climate, and microclimate for sugarcane cultivation, fermentation, and product development.

In addition to a particularly favorable terroir, rigorous quality standards are also applied in the production of Cachaça da Quinta.

In 1923, the Fazenda da Quinta was acquired by Francisco Lourenço Alves, a Portuguese immigrant, who introduced a series of new treatments to the existing Cachaça da Quinta production process. His son and successor, José Ramos Alves, continued to improve the beverage's production, maintaining the original technique and the unique fermentation process, which has become increasingly popular with connoisseurs.

At the beginning of the 21st century, he transferred the property and all the details of the traditional production process to his daughter, Katia Alves Espírito Santo, who designed and carried out a comprehensive renovation of the Fazenda and the brand's visual identity, bringing them up to the highest international standards.

The production of Cachaça da Quinta adheres to rigorously established and controlled criteria, namely:

1 - Organic sugarcane plantation, implementing the best seeding, care, and harvesting techniques

2 - Fermentation using carefully selected sugarcane yeasts, all cultivated on the estate

3 - Slow distillation in a copper still, until the perfect "heart" is obtained, i.e., the correct fraction of cachaça with a high sensory and physicochemical standard

4 - Storage for two years in wooden barrels—amburana or oak (carvalho in Portuguese)—and ten to twelve months in stainless steel barrels—resting in a more than century-old fazenda with thick walls, high ceilings, and terracotta floors, perfect for aging.

5 - Compliance with best practices during all stages of production

Cachaça da Quinta offers white cachaças aged in European oak (mainly French) and amburana, a 100% Brazilian tree. The Fazenda holds the Organic Product Certificate issued in Brazil by the National Institute of Technology.

Cachaça da Quinta celebrates its success, savoring the moment, with the awareness that continuous work is the foundation that confers superior status and results, in order to achieve the mission and vision of the Fazenda: to produce excellence for the senses, through the rigor of tradition, know-how, and artistry, aiming to establish itself on the market as a cachaça brand of the highest standard, preferred by customers and specialists.
